Birthed from GTA's GoBORO Long Range Transit Plan, Crossmax is the name of our new series of crosstown routes providing maximum freedom in transit.

 

Our initial launch was Route 1 Crossmax Purple, created by combining GTA Routes 1 and 10 with coverage adjustments at either end. The route started service in March 2024. Riders of the new route experience faster service and higher frequencies between residential and educational areas of east Greensboro and the retail and entertainment area in west Greensboro linking downtown in the process.

 

Buses depart every 15 minutes, reducing wait times in between. Longer service hours on weekends provide more flexibility in times of travel. And unlike other GTA routes, riders experience a one-seat ride without the need to change buses at the Depot.
