Arts Unbound: An Arts & Cultural Experience is more than a festival—it is a living expression of what becomes possible when creativity, culture, and community come together across generations. Launched in 2023, Arts Unbound has quickly grown into a signature event, and we are proud to present our 4th annual festival this year. Rooted in CAN-NC’s mission to enrich the lives of adults through creative expression, education, and social connection, bridging generations and cultures, Arts Unbound intentionally brings people of all ages and backgrounds into shared space—where youth, adults, and older adults are not separated, but celebrated together. 

Arts Unbound features art-making, live performances, cultural cuisine, interactive experiences, and opportunities to engage with artists and community partners. Arts Unbound is deeply committed to being both multicultural and intergenerational. Through diverse artistic traditions, performances, and hands-on experiences, the festival creates opportunities for connection that challenge ageism and the many “isms” that divide us. It invites attendees to see aging not as decline, but as a stage of continued growth, creativity, and contribution. By elevating artists and cultural bearers from a wide range of communities, we create a space where stories are shared, perspectives are honored, and mutual respect grows—bringing people together to celebrate the richness of our cultures and the power of community.
