Creative Greensboro and the Greensboro Cultural Center's art galleries are bringing you a very special First Friday event for Black History Month. Events will take place on the second floor atrium of the Greensboro Cultural Center. From 6-9 pm the evening will include:
- A vendor fair featuring Black artists and Black owned businesses offering gifts, artwork, and food.
- DJ beats all night highlighting genres central to Black History from Tumaini Johnson aka, TJ the DJ.
- Kay Marion and the Neo Symphony will perform a live musical set in GreenHill Gallery.
- The Center for Visual Artists will host an art battle facilitated by local artist, Emilio Marz.
- The African American Atelier will mark the opening of its Founding Members Exhibition.
- Greensboro Day School's Chinese Club art display.
