The "Ready Readers" program is a monthly event for young readers that highlights popular book series that children love. Each event includes selections read aloud by the librarian from favorite books, followed by a craft or activity, and book recommendations.

This month’s book is Strega Nona by Tomie DePaola, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary! Come hear this classic tale about a magic pasta pot read aloud, followed by some fun pasta activities, including a spaghetti and marshmallow building challenge and dried pasta art. You can also find out about other books about food you might enjoy!

This program is recommended for ages 5 - 8, but all ages are welcome.
