Historic Preservation Commission Meeting

The Greensboro Historic Preservation Commission and staff will gather for a retreat on April 22 from 12-4 pm. The location of the retreat will be announced no less than 48 hours before the meeting.

The Historic Preservation Commission is a nine-member board appointed by the City Council that reviews applications for Certificates of Appropriateness for exterior work in Greensboro's three local Historic Districts. Members must be qualified based on interest or experience in history, architecture, archaeology, or related fields. 


Any individual with a disability who needs an interpreter or other auxiliary aids, please contact Olivia Byrd at 336-373-2986. To request services needed, please make the request three to five days prior to the meeting/event. For additional information or assistance, please contact ADA Coordinator Gary Canapinno at 336-373-2723.
