This dark comedy is an off-Broadway hit based on an article by the <em>Weekly World News</em> where a half-bat child is found in a cave in West Virginia. From there, the story takes off with theatre songs mixed with rock opera and rap music as Edgar, the Bat Boy, finds a family and acceptance in a West Virginia coal mining town. <br />
