Greensboro Youth Council's annual Ghoulash! Halloween Festival is a safe and fun event for the entire family. This year’s event features face painting, removable tattoos and inflatables for kids up to 10 years old. The festival also offers community game booths, a photo booth, costume contests, a pirate maze, bingo and children’s arts and crafts. There will be lots of free candy and treats for the kids. New this year, Ghoulash! offers three affordable birthday party packages, which include fun activities and candy for your child and guests. Space is limited and parties are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis.
A costume contest for children ages 3 and under is from 6-6:30 pm, for ages 4-6 from 6:45-7:15 pm, and for ages 7-10 from 7:30-8 pm. Prizes will be awarded for the first three places in each age group. Children must register 30 minutes prior to each contest to participate. Some activities require a small fee, ranging from 25 cents to $3, such as the community fund-raising game booths, City Arts’ Haunted House, ArtQuest Crafts, and the outdoor activities.
