DESCRIPTION:<p>Join us for a performance of some of the greatest musical hits from 1910-65.&nbsp;Reserve seating is required. For tickets, call&nbsp;336-333-7470, ext. 203. Donations benefit Friends of the Greensboro Public Library and Community Theatre of Greensboro. </p><p>This show corresponds with the "A Fine Romance: Jewish Songwriters, American Songs, 1910-1965" exhibit at&nbsp;the Central Library Gallery through April 20.&nbsp;The exhibit&nbsp;highlights the work of Jewish songwriters who wove the American songbook deep into the fabric of our culture.&nbsp;It explores the contributions of songwriters such as George and Ira Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein.&nbsp;Greensboro is one of only 55 sites nationwide that will host this exhibit in 2011-12.
