DESCRIPTION:Ann Berry Somers, Senior Lecturer Emerita at UNCG, will share information about the Box Turtle Connection. This project is a long-term study of box turtles in North Carolina to learn about&nbsp;trends in population,&nbsp;identify&nbsp;threats, and develop strategies for long term conservation of the species.&nbsp;Also, educators from Greensboro Parks and Recreation will show a variety of turtles to learn their differences.
