DESCRIPTION:<p>The City of Greensboro and the National Park Service will host a reenactment of the Revolutionary War Battle of Guilford Courthouse – and other living history programs – on Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15, at Country Park, and the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park.&nbsp;</p><p>Information about the events hosted by the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park can be found online at <a href="https://www.nps.gov/guco/planyourvisit/calendar.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">https://www.nps.gov/guco/planyourvisit/calendar.htm</a></p><p>The battle will be reenacted at 2 pm daily on land where the battle took place in 1781 in Country Park. Vendors will also be on hand 10 am to 5 pm, Saturday and 10 am to 3 pm, Sunday with colonial merchandise, goods, and food for sale. There will be food and drinks for purchase at the battlefield. Outdoor events are subject to change or cancellation due to inclement weather.</p><p>Due to the noise of the cannons and musket fire, dogs are not permitted on the battlefield.</p><p>𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Event parking available at Jaycee Park, 3802 Jaycee Park Dr. (Nathanael Greene Drive entrance is closed during this event.</p>
