On the first Friday of every month, active-duty service members and veterans can enjoy FREE pier fishing at all three City lakes - Brandt, Higgins, and Townsend.</p><p>Check in at the lake office.<br>Bring your military/veteran ID or driver’s license with veteran designation.</p><p>Please note: A valid NC Fishing License is still required and can be purchased at lake offices. Annual Pier Fishing Passes will also remain available at a discounted rate.</p><p>We hope you’ll join us for a relaxing day by the water.
