Enjoy an evening kayaking while helping to keep our lake clean and preserve its natural beauty.
You may bring your own kayak and personal flotation device (PFD) or use one provided by the City (free for this event). The City's Parks and Recreation Department has agreed to waive the rental fees due to the cleanup. Transportation to and from the event is not provided.
All participants must:
- Be at least 10 years of age. Participants under 16 must be supervised at all times during the event by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.
- Have prior kayaking experience and be able to demonstrate proper kayaking etiquette.
- Fill out a waiver to participate. Participants under 18 must have their guardian complete the waiver prior to arrival.
- Properly wear their PFD at all times.
**Please Note: Advance registration is required to participate in this event. Registration closes at noon the day before the event. A limited number of kayaks are available for each date. Early registration is encouraged. **
